Arrival Story:
I was working at a vet's office and the girl from up front came back to the pens where I was cleaning. She had in her arms this fluffy ball of matted fur. I asked her "What IS that?!" I bathed him and shaved his mats off and went home. Every day I would come back he would be curled on his blanket and look at me with his dark almond eyes, pleading for attention and love. I decided to foster him and saw his goofy personality bloom. He quickly took to me and found a place in our home and heart.

Bio:
Remmy was resuced by Marion Animal Control from an elderly man, whose wife had passed. Remmy was her dog. He came to us matted and thin, lonely and scared. He was placed in the pound and rescued again by Healing Hearts Small Animal Rescue. He suffers from liver failure, dermatitis, halitosis, and failing eyesight.
