Hey everyone... It's Sherlock. Good gosh is it May already? Someone needs to tell my foster mom to quit hogging me from my public! She doesn't seem to get the point that I'm never going to find my forever home if she doesn't let everyone know what the heck I'm up to....
So I am a handsome nut. Everything is still rocking along at my foster home beautifully. I am just another member of the cool boxer pack. There was actually another foster here for a while so I wasn't the newbie anymore (I kinda showed him around the joint). I am completely house trained (actually people call me the camel) I seem to have a super large bladder and hold it forever! I am crate trained, I am leashed trained, you name it I can probably do it. I love my fur brothers and sister but I think I would be just fine as an only dog in your house.
As you can see from my new pic I have filled out quite nicely. I'm around 52 pounds and feeling pretty comfy here. I am still the cute cuddler and love to give kisses now. It is amazing after almost 4 months of seeing what normal dog life is meant to be how I can get use to this. Still loving the treats, car rides, the kids, long walks in my current foster hood and anyone that comes to my home to visit. Not sure if you have been to any BRBR events but I have been making the rounds. I do very well with the stress of sitting at these events for hours greeting and hanging out with my other dog pals! Hoping my new forever home parents will show up to see me!!
Actually I have to share a great story about a BRBR event I was at a few weekends ago. I came out to Bark In The Park in Charlotte with all my other foster friends. But I had a truly special day. The wonderful people that physically saved my life that cold day in January came all the way to this event to just see me!!!! Look these people literally saved me from getting loaded on the animal control truck to take me to my final resting place. They warmed me up in a heating pad and fed me for two days before they found me a foster home with BRBR. Can you believe there are people that care this much and that they drove out of their way on a Saturday to check in on me? So I want to send them a special

Hi everyone its Sherlock! I have been at my foster home for one full month now. Wow, its crazy how life can change in just a month. I am fully crate trained, I like to take walks and I do pretty well on a leash with out much pulling. I can totally sit (little secret about me I am very food trainable) I will perform for treats!! I am so playful now. My fur brother has taught me how to play wrestle and I'm kind of getting the hang of boxing too! Our fur sister stares at us like we have issues! We would go for hours if someone would let us. I have learned how to protect the house and let everyone know when someone is on the outside. Quite honestly I don't have an annoying little dog bark, I kind of have a manly low woof!! However don't let that make you think I'm not friendly. I am so good when people are invited into the house. I will greet them but I'm not a jumper! My foster mom is so happy about that cuz my fur brother is getting in trouble a lot for that!! While I do like to play and I am your typical "nosey" boxer I am still low key when I'm told to go lay down. However, I need to let everyone know if I have one fault....well I do snore! It's cute and actually at night I hear my foster parents laughing. I love my human brothers and even don't get upset when the 3.5 yro yanks at my tail at times. I have since day one slept through the night and won't wake anyone up to go outside. I am good until the morning. I have not had an accident in the house in about 2 weeks. And the very few I did was not because I'm clueless about etiquette it was because my foster parents and I were trying to get on the same page on how to let each other know it was potty time!
Physically and mentally it is time for me to find my forever home. I am neutered and handled that like a champ. My foster parents even had me chipped for my new home so I don't ever get lost again. I'm gaining more weight everyday as hopefully you can see how cute I am in my pics. I loved the snow we just had and I like to sun on the deck and eat my huge bones when it is warm enough. I am such a lover. I love to cuddle and kiss, kiss, kiss! I curl up in a little ball just like a boxer when I sleep and I totally lean on my foster parents and always want to touch. I'm a VERY sweet boy!!
