Arrival Story:
After speaking about getting a puppy after our wedding in July, I was just looking online at different rescues and came across a picture of 3 black lab puppies that had been left at a gas station in NC. I immediately felt a chill and a need to adopt this puppy. That day I submitted the application without my fiances knowledge and then told him that evening when we found out we had been approved! Both of us were excited and determined to make this dogs life the best it could be! We picked him up on July 11, 2009 after a LONG ride from NC. We named him Shadow and fell in love with him immediately! What a great outcome from such a sporatic decision!
