People think I'm quiet and shy, but guess again...

Thunder

Last night the sky started making the most terrible sounds! It was growling and crashing like nothing you've ever heard before! It was making terrible flashes of light, too! Well, I decided to teach it a lesson. I barked my most ferocious bark at it every time it made a noise. My bark must have been even more ferocious than I thought because the sky started crying and the loud noises went away! My my my, aren't I a strong dog? Now that I know it works, I will have to do this more often.

Last night I gave my mom such a nice surprise! Dizzy and I were very excited to see Mom when she came home from her evening walk. She sat down at the computer to check her email. I jumped up on her lap and gave her a huge kiss on the mouth. The surprise was that I had just nibbled on some poop so I had poop breath! Mom shrieked with surprise and ran and washed her face because it stunk from my kiss. I don't understand why she didn't find it as tasty as I did. Now Mom is saying that she needs to do some backyard maintenance because I must be "bored" if I am resorting to eating poop. She sure can be weird sometimes.

Happy birthday to me!

Today Mom woke up Dizzy and me by singing a silly song that went like this: "Happy birthday to you..." That's when I remembered that I am three years old today!

It was a day of treats. Every time we did something "good" or just looked cute, we got treats. Yummm, I love those liver things! And pig ears... who can ask for a better treat?

The best part was when Mom blew bubbles for Dizzy and me to chase. It was so much fun! The wind was blowing just right and kept changing directions, so there were bubbles EVERYWHERE! I can jump higher than any Springer (don't listen to Dizzy if she says she jumps higher than I do). I bit as many of those bubbles as I possibly could!

Wow, what a fun day. Now I am going to sleep soundly. I can't wait until my next birthday!
