The wonderful smell

A few days ago, I think cause I can't really tell time, mom was making some wonderful aromas in the kitchen. She was putting this wonderful smelling food into a container on the thing that makes fire, she calls it a stove. I wanted to get a closer sniff, but of course she would not let me, what a mean mom.

So as she fills the container it is creating even better smells, but she is wrinkling her nose and muttering how she didn't realize liver stunk so bad, maybe there is something wrong with her nose.

So she puts the wonderful smelling concoction in a noisy container and it comes out looking like the stuff out of the cans, yummm. She then proceeds to put it in a dish telling me it has to "cool down".

Later at dinner time she takes that dish out of the big white cold thing they call the fridge, and adds some to my kibble! Oh, joyous day that I get to finally taste that wonderful smell! I follow her as she carries my dish, making sure none of it falls out. Happily I eat the wonderful mix then go back and ask for more, she looks at me like I am nuts and tells me that is all.

The next day I got more of that food with my kibble, and every day since! What a great mom, she probably deserves some extra kisses from me.

Stinky Butt McPutin?

You know when you find something on the side of the road with such an interesting aroma you have to taste it? I found one of those and took a bite even though mom told me no, I couldn't resist. I can tell ya it did not taste as good as it smelled, but it was no biggie at the time.

Later I was lying in front of the couch watching tv, mom and dad were on the couch. My tummy felt a little funny, but I farted a few times and felt better. All of a sudden mom and dad started saying that wierd name again, Stinky Butt McPutin. I don't know who Stinky Butt McPutin is, maybe one of those moving pictures on the tv?

If anyone knows who this Stinky Butt McPutin is, let me know, because when mom and dad say it they look at me. Maybe I look like him?

A dog's life

It was sunny today, which I love with the snow, but mom was busy in the office tearing apart the computer thingy so I stayed around to supervise. She put the harness on me later so I knew a walk was on the way, love the walks. We went our usual route to the side road where I stop and she unhooks me from her and I get to run free as a bird. Ok, she prefers I stay on the road so I try and do that. I stopped a few times and rubbed my back into the road, it feels sooo good.

After the walk and a nap I watched while mom cooked some great smelling beef, I left a nice pile of drool on the floor for her, heh heh. Serves her right for shooing me out of the kitchen.

In the evening mom and dad cleared a spot on the couch for me, so I climbed up and layed between them and relaxed. Then they started telling me I was hogging the couch, I can't help it if I stretch out while relaxing. I wonder if one of them is going to make popcorn?
