Arrival Story: How I got Tator Carla (my mother), Sharon (my mothers friend/neighbor), Sarah (my friend), Stephanie (me!) went to a horse auction looking for a western pleasure horse. While we sat on the bleachers looking at the horses in the cold barn at Simons arena I spotted a girl my age with red curly hair and her younger brother with red strait hair walking around with a small red and white corgi! Previously I had spotted a corgi mix puppy for $150 and had no connection. When I saw this corgi puppy I just had to have it! But how was I supposed to ask my mother? I just kept looking at the puppy they walked around and were out of sight. Once more I spotted them I thought what if they left so I told Sarah this and she said, “Ask you mom.” Courageously I ask my mom she thought and said, “Asked if it is for sale.” For sale, duh! I was afraid if I asked they would say no. So I begged Sarah to come with me she came with to go ask. Sarah waltzed right up there and said strongly, “Is that dog for sale?” They nodded, “how much?” I whimpered, “$350”. Oh! I did not have that much! Oh man! “Ok…” I said and weaved my way back through the people sitting on the bleachers eagerly looking at a Paint colt. I told my mom, she said, “Do you had that much?” I replied, “No, only half”. She said, “We could work something out”, (my heart soared the sound of that) “But are you sure you want this dog?” I excitedly said “Yes!” (This is a once of a lifetime deal! No air fee, no having to worry it looks nothing like the picture on the internet...) once more I shyly asked my friend Sarah if she would ask them if we could buy this dog. She sighed and walked over to them they said, “Sure” and they told their mother. She would meet us after the action. Eagerly I waited for the action to be over with. After the action was done my mother regretting not bidding higher on some of the horses. We walked to the entrance. There he was the corgi of my dream! They asked if I wanted to hold him while they went to get the signing papers and his adoption papers I bright eyed took him in my arms his little tongue licked me it was like he was saying, “take me home with you!” Everything was done the papers signed everything (I even got a collar and leash!) I let him go potty and stopped to get something to eat. I brought him in to the little building and waited for a pastry. A lady came over and said that type of dog was on 101 Dalmatian 2 animated (she knew because she has a daycare) recalling that movie that I was surprised to remembered and surprised I even watch that I said, “yes” she complimented me and went her way. Finally I have my (newest) life long dog! (I naturally like long little dogs from the beginning) so you could say we went for a horse and got a dog!

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Tator you are so special to me.
I wish you could see,
All the things you have taught.
Who would of ever thought?
Every year in obedience you have won me the top.
Blue ribbons, purple ribbons, and those spiffy plaques too.
Every day you greet me with a smile and your 'arooooo-rooo-rooo'.
And every minute I spend in your present I can't stop thinking of you.
This last weekend Mommy and I went camping. It started out by meeting another corgi friend. Her name was Chaps. She was 8 years old, much older than I am. Chaps played with me a bit but soon lost interest and left. Than mommy and her friend took me down to the creek. I hesitated at first but soon jumped in. It was refeshing! But very deep in some spots! But nothing my powerful little legs can't handle!
