Quick Bio:

Likes:
Having his butt scratched, soup bones, sleeping, go bye-bye and humping my mom's dog (white dog in picture). Helping mow the yard. He's also a mamma's boy.

Pet-Peeves:
Getting wet, especially his feet. Don't grab his tail, it makes a nice handle, but he doesn't like it to be used as one. He also does not like being told to get off the furniture or bed. He also does not like it when his collar is removed, he feels naked.

Favorite Toy:
His rawhide bone and shark. He also likes Daddy's stuffed Chiefs football.

Favorite Food:
He's a carnivor who likes black olives. Also likes cheese that falls from the ceiling.

Favorite Walk:
Somewhere new where he can sniff and mark his territory over another dog.

Best Tricks:
Ignoring his parents.

Arrival Story:
His mommy is a chow-cocker mix and thinks the father was a golden retriver. He definately would have been in a broken home had she not given him and his brothers and sisters up for adoption.

Bio:
He wants to meet a cat one day that won't run away from him. He doesn't understand why they do that. He is jealous of the computer and will go out of his way to have whom ever is on the computer let him out, even though someone else is more convenient. His tongue is also totally purple. For the most part he ignores the neighboring dogs once he gets to know them, he can be a snob at times. He's a Chiefs fan thru thick and thin. He is my little helper and our protector!

This new puppy is starting to grow on me. She's a bit annoying at times. Mommy says she doesn't know any better and that she's still learning. I'm too old for this! I'm 9 for crying out loud! Mocha's not too bad.

Mommy and Daddy usually have her outside when they go Bye-Bye and leave me home. But this time she stayed inside. (Babysitting is hard work.) She did really good and didn't make any messes. Mommy and Daddy were proud of her for waiting until they got home. They were even proud of me for taking care of her and the house.

Now it's my nap time. Hopefully she won't follow me for that.

Mommy went to visit great grandma and great grandpa this week and came back with Mocha. She's hyper! I know when it's time to settle down, she needs to learn. Also I know that when it's time to do my business, you go outside. She doesn't either. Daddy keeps telling me I have to teach her. Why doesn't she know this already? I don't understand. Mommy and Daddy tell me she's justa puppy. Mommy reminds me that I was a puppy once too, and that I had to learn. Hmmmmm, maybe there's something to that. Time to go help Mommy teach Mocha more things.

Last week

Last week was exciting. I got to see my family on Daddy's side. My 5 month old cousin wasn't too exciting. She just laid around and would make noise every so often. But she smelled alright to me.
My 1 year old cousin was pretty cool. She gave me lots of kisses and even feed me from the table. I'm not a big fan of the cinnamon rolls that she was trying to give me though, especially since they had been in her mouth first. My favorite thing was to wave my furry tail in her face and she'd catch it and giggle. Her puppy at home doesn't have a tail so it was novel to her.
My 3 year old cousin had a bad experience with a puppy when she was little, so I scared her. Mommy told me that when she gets a little more bigger than me it'll be better. So I let her have her space.
It was good to see Grandma and my Aunts and Uncles too. I got a ton of attention and treats that Mommy doesn't know about. :)

Then after Daddy's family left, Mommy and Daddy went on vaction to the beach. I had to stay home and gaurd the house. Probably good because I get home sick. I sure did miss them while they were gone.
Danny and Melinda from next door did take good care of me and even took me over to play with Bentley. That was fun! I was spoiled rotten!

Don't get me wrong, I was very happy to see Mommy and Daddy again. I've hardly left Mommy's side since she's been back. They even brought me back a treat from the Gourmutt Bakery. It was soooooo big it took me 3 days to eat it. Well, only because Mommy wouldn't let me eat all at once. She said something about not wanting me to sick of a good thing. How silly is that?
