I was born in Missouri, in what I believe was a puppy mill. My Daddy ordered me through a pet store in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada as a gift for my Mommy. Mommy was very sick and My Daddy wanted her to have a little Lhasa Apso to keep her company.
I was very tiny for a Lhasa baby. When I was 7 weeks old I was put in a tiny little crate in the back of a van with other little babies in crates and spent the next two weeks traveling around till the van was full and I got to Lethbridge. Mommy and Daddy came to pick me up the very day that I arrived. I was very happy in my home with my Mommy. I had a special skin brother that carried me in his pocket and took me for pick up truck rides. He went to the Rainbow Bridge when I was only 7 months old. Mommy and I stuck together like glue. We were both very sad.
I have always liked to help my Mommy get exercise. I will run about 5 feet in front of her for hours and hours.
When Mommy got a bit better we went trucking. My Daddy went to live in a new home and I stayed with Mommy. We were long haul truckers traveling all over United States and Canada until the end of October, 2009. We pulled a refigerated trailer and I helped Mommy by letting her know when the refrigeration unit on the trailer quit working. I also guarded our truck very diligently. I just had my 15th Birthday in 2009 and even though I am loosing my eye sight, I am still a happy active girl.
On May 31, 2011 I lost my battle with congestive heart failure and went to The Rainbow Bridge at 2:45 am MDT. I slipped away quietly in my Mommy's arms after she had told me it was alright to go, that she loved me very much but my little body was too tired. She reassured me that my skin brother would be waiting for me and that he would look after me. She said that I should make sure that I looked after my little Yorkie rescue brother, Nickie, who had gone 42 days before me. I said good bye as Mommy's tears fell on my head. I am truly loved.
