All Grown Up

Wow...its been a long time since I updated this. As you can see from my picture I'm all grown up now. In fact mom is talking about my 2nd birthday coming up. I'm pretty sure that means treats and toys...I love toys...especially squeaky ones. Sasha is still my best bud. I have two new schnauzer friends that don't live too far away, Dyson and Kirby, and we go see them sometimes. I think they like me...they bark at me at first tho but we have fun when everyone gets settled down and the treats come out. Mom says when it gets cooler we'll go run in their backyard again..it's a fun backyard...there's a place where I can look at myself...I like looking at myself. Mom calls me a diva...whatever that is! Mom says we have bunches of friends that she talks to with that typy thing she's always on...in fact she's on it now typing this stuff I'm telling you...I can't do the typy thing..shucks...I'd like to talk to my other friends.

I'm finishing up my intermediate obedience class this week. Mr Greg, my really nice trainer (I really like him), says I am doing great...well except when he's around...I go goofy around him! We're starting what mom is calling agility in September. She talked about this last year but we didn't do it. Something about me needing to get older...I mean from what she says you run around at this...I was running around fine last year...I dunno. Anyhow...she's pretty excited and has a new collar and matching leash coming with my name embroidered on them...so I have diva stuff to wear to class. It's important ya know!!!

I also learned to swim this summer...was way fun. And I got to float in the lake on a pink float that matched my pink lifejacket. I like it but wish we could swim more.

Well...gonna go now...my sis just picked up all my toys and put them in a basket...I've got to go get them all back out and put them all over th living room where they belong. Things have to be in the right place after all! Sheesh..don't know why she does that all the time! I'll try and update more often.

I'm 17 weeks old now

Wow....I haven't updated in quite awhile. I was so little last time. I got groomed a few weeks ago...my pictures are updated. Aren't I pretty??? It was my first "big girl" haircut. I also finished those yucky shots and got microchipped (ouch) last week. Last Saturday I went to my very first dog park. Wow...lots of friends there. I mostly smelled around...mom says it will take a few trips before the smell thing gets worked out and I see how much fun the other doggies are. It sure did tire me out tho. I slept all evening. It was so much fun. We would have gone back on Sunday but it rained. Darn.

I weighed 8 lbs when I went to the vet. I'm really growing...at least that's what mom says. I'm taking classes at Petsmart now too and mom is talking about agility (whatever that is) classes this summer. I have to be 6 months old before I can do that. I do like that clicker thing tho...it means I get a treat!!! YUMMY.

I'm growing up!!`

Wow...I've been busy..mostly playing and growing. Mom took me to get something she called...groomed...on Saturday... They said I did good. Just a bath, nail clip and trim. Aren't I pretty??? I've been doing real good. Mom tells me I'm good when I go potty outside instead of on the carpet so I try to do that. She's happier. I'm having lots of fun...love chasing the cats. Still don't understand why they won't play. Sasha and I play and play now. I love her lots.

Ok...will write more later. Have to go back to that vet guy next week...for shots. Ugh.
