Arrival Story:
We decided to get another dog after being left without one after our golden retriver was put to sleep a few years ago (due to old age, she was 14) and our diabetic yorkshire terrier also had to be put to sleep in 2004 due to kidney failure.
We looked into different breeds but found the cavalier suited us best. We contacted the kennel club and they put us in touch with a breeder about 3 hours away. We called her and she had one boy left so we went to see him that weekend. When we arrived she had lots of dogs and we seen his mum and dad first. They were very friendly. Then the breeder went through to get charlie (orginally called Rory). She fetched this little puppy through in her arms and he looked really scared. She passed him to us and he cuddled straight into us- we decided he was the one for us. So signed all the nesessary papers and carried him outside. It was raining so i put him in my jacket so he didnt get wet. We we got in the car I put him in the box we fetched and he slept all the way home. We decided to change his name from Rory to Charlie as we thought he looked more like a Charlie. He was a little shy at first but is coming out of himself and becoming more confident every day.
Bio:
Charlie is a very happy little boy although he is rather nervous of strangers but once he gets to know them he is a big softie. He is very lovable and loves getting cuddles.
