Quick Bio:

August 1st 2000

Being outside with the family, roaming in our woods, getting his butt scratched.

Looking into his eyes solicits a growl & he has been known to snap.

Favorite Toy:
rearranging the sleeping pillows & throws in the dog bed.

Favorite Food:
Boy, pretty much whatever but "candy" is high on his list.

Favorite Walk:
Roaming in our woods with his friend Boomer.

Best Tricks:
Well, he knows "place" "Bang your dead" and a growing number of words.

Arrival Story:
We were lucky enough to be allowed to foster this gentleman. The rescue group save his life. They gave him a face lift, tumor removal, and let him be with us for his recovery. And he has stayed with us. His age is unknown, but his teeth are worn to the gum line so he has a few yrs. on him.

He is unsure how to relate to people, although he is learning. He has a lovely musical bass voice he uses when hearing sirens. He is a hound through and through. He does a "Flat Basset" when you pretend to shot him, and he is very smart.

Forums Motto:
Bo buddy -

Such a character. He loves his family. He flops on the floor moaning & groaning in an awful way until you tell how wonderful he is & give him a good scratch. His bark is so loud it scares people if they don't know him but his howl is a melodic bass. He expects my sister, no one else, to take him out for a run before bedtime & then provide him with a piece of "candy." He barks until he get to do this too. Boomer is expected to come with him.

Bo went to the Rainbow Bridge Dec.3,2010. His early life abuse left him in constant pain. When we could no longer alleviate this pain, we gave him release. I hope he knows I loved him, just the way he was...
He affected all of us.

Bo Buddy was very old and disabled due to arthritis and long standing malnutrition. While the CBHR did everything in their power, age caught up to him on 2010. He left us peacefully.
