Arrival Story:
I was camping in New Mexico and this drunk guy threatened to kill us. In fact he said "if you don't get out of here #@!? I'm gonna get my gun and kill you all" and then he stormed off. A few minutes later he comes barreling down the dirt road in his truck and tries to run over out tents. Instead he hit a big rock, falls out of his car and passes out. It turns out he had 13 puppies in the bed of his truck. I went to the truck and Houndog came up to me and tried to nurse off my arm, he was about 5-6 weeks old. The puppies were starving and so was the momma dog. I took him and 3 of his litter mates and found homes for the other 3. We gave them goat milk and cooked food for them mixed with puppy food. Houndog chose me and we have been together ever since. (This is the much abreviated version)
