Arrival Story:
Caramel was adopted by my Dad in 1992. She was a cute little puppy, hyper-active and intelligent. She was truly loved by the family and considered to be a family member. She loved to hang out in the garden and listen in to our conversations whenever we talked. She hates taking baths. One look at the hose that we used to bathe her and she'd run away, as fast as the wind. Caramel loved food. She was a happy eater. She loved sinigang (a local dish featuring pork that was brewed in tamarind soup). She also loved to chase live chickens around.( Since she sed to live in a farm, she might have been used to hunting chickens.) In 2001, Caramel had a heart attack, which caused half of her body to be paralyzed, but despite this, she was still able to move about and live her life. After a few months, she had another stroke, which claimed her life. All family members cried. She was buried near our house so we could still be with her even in her after life.
