Arrival Story:
One thursday in the spring, I was at the Dog park in Kelowna when Jake (my other dog) took a liking to Erika. So I walked over to Erikas gaurdians and started talking with them, they were a German couple visting there cousins (Erikas Owners) and they were leaving this weekend to fly back home. I happened to by chance overhear them talking about how sad they were that Erika was going to be droped off at the SPCA on saturday before they left. Right away I asked them why she was being sent there, since she is a beautiful dog. They said it was becuase there cousins, a retired couple, couldn't keep up with the dogs energy levels. At that moment I said I would take her in as a playmate for Jake , and the next day she was brought to my home. I was not planning on a second dog but now I have her and she is a great addition to my household.
