Arrival Story:
Since my team of misfits were severely lacking in direction, I decided to purchase an experienced sled dog. I asked a friend of mine, who is a professional dog racer, if she had any she'd be willing to sell. She offered me Fabio, who was a yearling that had participated in the Iditarod race, but would be a little too slow for next year's race. He'd been in training as a leader, also. I was hoping his experience would help bring some direction (literally) to my team!

Bio:
Fabio adjusted pretty well to his new lifestyle. He's a bit uncertain indoors. He comes inside quite willingly, but darts around nervously sometimes. He absolutely loves his job, though! With Fabio's experience up front, I can now confidently drive my team down the side of the road the half mile to the dog trails. We've even mushed down to the community well to haul water by dog sled. Next year we hope to have our act together sufficiently to enter in some of the small races. We may participate in the longer races some day, but we'd need more help before we get to that point!
