Arrival Story:
We'd decided when Max was a year old that he needed a playmate. So, we set out to find him one. We looked in shelters, with breeders, and then pet stores. We drove 4 hours from home to the only pet store that had a miniature dachshund. We got him when he was 4 months old. The man that had him before got him from a breeder, kept him for a month, & then for an unknown reason, decided he didn't want him. He had these huge paws, much too big for his tiny body, and he clung to my shoulder as soon as I picked him up. We brought Max with us so he could check out the new addition, and as soon as he came right up to the puppy, we knew he was the one to complete our family. He is the most lovely thing in my life.

Bio:
I love my grandma & grandpa just as much as my brother does. My grandma lets me sit in her lap and stay there for as long as I can stay still. Plus, my cousin Beaux looks just like me (but twice my size!) It's fun to run around with him, and he licks my ears (but mommy doesn't like it because my ears stink afterwards!)
