Arrival Story: Molly was a badly abused dogs with heart worms when I adopted her. Someone had cut her deply across her back. She usually runs around on 3 legs and keeps one leg up a lot. I guess its nerve damange form her wounds. She was obviously beaten and hurt badly. She is still frightened easily and runs to the closet to hide. Its sad that someone abused her so much. She was dumped at a pound and told they should just kill her. A no kill shelter rescued her where I adopted her. She had to go through heartworm treatments, but came through ok. She has been through enough. She has a very sweet, loving personality and is very needy. She overeats and eats my other dogs' food leftovers and has gotten quite fat. I need to get her on a doggy diet. She seems to be obssessed with eating. This may be from being neglected and abused before I guess. She smiles all the time when she interacts with humans. The thing that has bothered me is that she has killed some rabbits while out in the yard. She stays in most of the time. I wish rabbits would never come in the yard because I get very upset when this happens and unfortunately I have seen it twice when she brought them back to the door. I wish I could keep the rabbits out of my yard entirely for their sake.
