Arrival Story:
We lost our beloved Bronco aka Boo, a registered American Staffordshire that we had gotten from Ironheart Kennels out of Texas. We were afraid that Jonesboro would start having breed specific laws or we would have gotten another Am Staff, became interested in the Cane Corso, looked at alot of them, and wanted a boy to help protect Mom and Sissy while Dad hunts, so we started to check out breeders. We discovered Virginia Dunn at Bella Rosa in Portland, Oregon. She had good quality pups and a good reputation, so we called and talked to her. We were looking for a "formentino" coloring, even though you aren't supposed to chose that way. Nikko was our pick of the litter, gorgeous light fawn coat and gold eyes. He has quickly become one of our four legged children, and keeps Sassy company, and plays with her, we think he has helped her alot with her lonliness she lost Boo. He will never replace Boo, but he is a sweet tempered boy and we love him so very much. He is very loving and wants petting all the time. His trainer called him a "touch junkie" and said it was all my fault. If he doesn't get attention he will whine and nudge your arm until you stop what you are doing and love on him. He sleeps in the bed with us and Sassy and loves to snuggle. We sent him to Canine Connections, a trainer here in Jonesboro, Kevin Cooper, who taught him how to be polite and well behaved, and did a great job!
