Rocky LOVES just playing in general! He loves running around and going for walks! He likes new toys too!
Pet-Peeves:
He's not very good with strangers or new people. He'll bark if someone he hasn't met before comes up to the house. He's a great watch dog! But he's fine on a leash.
Favorite Toy:
His favourite toy is a soft little bananas in pyjamas toy! He sleeps with it every night and looks really adorable when he holds it around in his mouth.
Favorite Food:
His favourite food is treats of course! He goes crazy when we bring out the smackos!
Favorite Walk:
His favourite walk? The park! He has the best time there! He chases after birds and runs in circles on the grass!
Best Tricks:
Rocky loves doing tricks cause he knows he gets treats for it! haha! He can do the basics such as sit, lie and shake. He can also hi-five (kind of like shake) and his best trick is dance where he stands on his tow hind legs and twirls!
Arrival Story:
I've wanted a dog since i can remember and I never let my parents forget it! I adored animals from when i was just a little girl and still love them more now! Especially dogs! One day, one month after I had just turned 10 on the 9th of September, my parents opened up the newspaper and began searching for a puppy breeder. We decided to choose a breeder over a pet store for a few reasons. We decided after a while on the breed-a maltese cross shih-tzu! We went to many breeders before stumbling across Rocky. As soon as i saw him i knew he was the one. We arrived at the house to find the owners sitting on the front porch of their house, a fluffy white bundle in their arms. When they saw us they put the puppy onto the ground and he ran straight towards us! i remember walking across the grass to see the healthy-looking mother and the puppy would follow me everywhere! Even as we were signing all the papers and forms he would never be far from my side. And so after all the neccessary forms were completed and signed we thanked the owners and headed back to the car for the drive home. I held baby Rocky in my arms the whole time and i just couldn't stop smiling.
Bio:
I named him Rocky for two main reasons. The first reason was that Baby Rocky was anything BUT rocky! He was white with beige ears and very fluffly and small! I remember my friend coming over and she giggled when she though baby Rocky was a teddy bear! So I didn't want to name him Fluffy since it was a very popular name and wanted something a little more unique! Rocky for the fluffy doggy it is! The second reason was that i met teh SWEETEST boy when i was younger and his name was Rocky. He was only my age when we were about 8 but he was extremely nice to me and made me smile. He once said, "I didn't really want to come to school today, but now that i met you, i really, really like it!" We haven't seen each other since but i've never forgotten him.
