Arrival Story:
My girlfriend, Hillary, and I took our Great Dane, Desmond, down to the People's Fair in Denver. Desmond had been petted and admired all day and he was pretty tired. Someone came over to us and told us that there were Great Dane puppies at the Max Fund (a no-kill shelter) booth. We went over to see the puppies. Desmond plopped down in the grass next to the booth and this little female puppy left her litter-mates and crawled on top of Des. We were smitten and knew she was the one for us. Although it was against policy (turns out we knew the director of the shelter and she checked our references on the spot!), we took her home with us that afternoon!

Bio:
Millie is very tolerant of all the foster dogs that have come and gone from our home. She is very alert to any strange noises, activity or vehicals & people on our property. She one alterted us to a peeping Tom and happily chased after him while her big brother Des, cowered in the yard afraid to chase him.
