Arrival Story:
Merlin was a surprise for me. My husband had decided we were ready to adopt again and got in touch with a breeder several months ago. After locating our new puppy he arranged for him to be picked up on our way home from visiting family Thanksgiving weekend. I planned to shop on black friday and my husband was afraid there wouldn't be room in the car for the puppy so he gave me 2 gifts...The first was a framed picture called "Welcome Home Merlin" with pictures of the puppy from the breeder. The second was a pet carrier....I didn't do any shopping on black friday and didn't miss it!

A day in the life of Merlin

Merlin has been with us for a little more than a week. He is such a smart puppy. He already knows to run to the door to go outside, even if he doesn't always make it out before he "goes". He loves his toys and especially chewing his teething keys. He gets very excited when he plays and barks at us. We are trying to teach him not to chew on us!
