Life in the pack

Today

Mommy got me a really cute harness and a tag that says "Smart Blonde" on it. It was a nice sentiment, but I hope she is not trying to take me outside in this cold weather. It is so cold I swear it sounds like the ice maker when me and my friends go out to potty. I prefer to spend my time in the cozy warm cage only venturing out when the baby is eating, did I mention the baby drops lots of yummy morsels? Ha ha, sometimes they give her a cracker and when no one is looking she gives it to me, of course she doesn't know she is giving it to me, but the result is the same. I always manage to get away with at least two crackers before mommy catches on. the baby just laughs about it, she know mommy always has more to give her. I honestly don't understand why they get mad, I mean aren't they always worrying about how skinny I am? Well I just give them my cute eyes and they get over it fast. Ha ha ha, I love it here!....wag,wag.......wag,wag.......

2010

Ok friends I know it has been a while, mommy has been pretty busy these days and there has been no time for dictation. Right now we are all sighing a big relieved breath, the holiday company has gone home. Besides the big noisy boys there was also a giant dog. She spent all her time running from window to window and door to door. Mommy did not allow her to stay in the house because she is a shedding breed (GSD) and with the baby crawling we didn't want her to eat hair. Going out to potty was an ordeal, especially since I recently had my spay surgery and mommy was worried that the dog would hurt me. But she made sure to watch us closely so it was ok. Now we are trying to find the former flow of the house. Princess managed to lose a little bit of those love handles too! I am so glad for her the weight really tires her out. Hopefully mommy will be able to keep it up. Well friends the baby calls so me and mommy have to go for now. So have a happy new year all, and may all our resolutions stick, ha ha ha.......wag,wag.....wag,wag.......

The cat

Did I tell you that mommy has a big ole cat? Yes she is bigger than me, Chiquito and Princess put together! I give her all the space she wants, but Princess sometimes sniffs her. I don't really know anything about cats , I just know this one is scary. Mommy brushes her and bathes her so I guess she wont kill us all.....for now. She is white, with a little calico, mommy calls it, and a big gray stripey spot on her nose. She has one ear up and one down oh, and did I mention the long fur? I'm a little envious, I bet she's never cold! And she gets to sleep on mommy's bed, I sleep in the cage with the other doggies. Well I'm not sure what think about this yet. I mean the bed is soft, but it does have a big scary cat in it, so I'm not sure I'm not better off with the doggies. I guess we'll see won't we?
