Best Tricks: playing dead, saying "I love you", talking human to other dogs that won't play, going through all of them, moonwalking, hugging

Arrival Story: After I got out of a bad relationship I got a dog for my birthday. I was looking for a large dog like a Great Pyrenees or something, but at this one PetsMart they had this little white dog with black/brindle ears and a ring around one eye. She didn't really catch my attention at first, but the attendant kept pushing me at her. She was a little skinny and really submissive. When they let me get her out and walk around with her, she was really distracted and wouldn't stay with me on the leash, but I decided to take her anyway. A long time ago, there was a Pitbull at an animal hospital that I worked at who was a really great dog. So as I was walking Angel around, I remembered that one. Angel came from the Franklin County Humane Society, where she had been adopted out as a puppy, and came back, and then lived with a lady that kept her in a crate all the time. I think when I found her there at the PetsMart they were desperate to find her a home. I hate to think what seemed to be in store for her soon. When I got her she was 10 months old. She has turned out to be the sweetest best dog on earth.

Bio: She follows me everywhere. Hates to let me out of her sight. She also hates to be left in the crate, which I only do when I have to, when I leave for work or school, or whatever. She used to get carsick, but has stopped puking. She still doesn't like car rides, but would SO much rather go with than be left at home. Also doesn't like to be left in the truck when I go in the store for a minute either. I wonder what happened to her to make her so anxious about being left. She sleeps with me in my bed and usually squeezes herself into the middle, pushing me into some uncomfortable positions. =) She also owns the love seat and sits on it with her leg over the arm like a person. She seems to understand everything I say. Teaching her is as easy as telling her to do something, and showing her. She mimics.
She loves to play with my mom's Bostons, and she'll get down on the floor so she's shorter than them, and try to baby chew them. That's something she learned from them. =) But if they don't want to play she starts yelling at them. It's weird. I taught her to say 'I love you', and she just keeps telling them that over and over. They hate it, can't understand human I guess. She likes to run really fast and have you chase her. She doesn't play fetch, she likes to get whatever it is and run with it. Anyway, she has really been my Angel. She makes every day worth it.

Forums Motto: my freckled pink baby in fur jammies
