 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: September 1st 1998
Likes: Being held and giving kisses, belly rubs, and snuggling.

Pet-Peeves: Having my paws touched, nail trims - my mom has to take me to have my nails done, vet's office, having to go outside in the rain, wet grass.

Favorite Toy: My pink bear and my green frog. I really like the hedgehog too.

Favorite Food: Mom just got us some Newman's Own doggie treats and I love them!

Favorite Walk: To the mailbox and in the park behind my house.

Best Tricks: Just learning "sit" and "down". "Down" is hard!!

Arrival Story: Mimi came to me through DFW Pug Rescue (care of Fuzzy Friends Rescue) on 01/08/05 and I couldn't be luckier. She is the sweetest little princess. And I think she knows it!

Bio: Mom's side of the story: Mimi and Nikki were rescued together by Fuzzy Friends Rescue in Waco, TX on Sept. 1, 2004 (Sept. 1st is what I use for their birthdays now). They were in terrible shape - they were both terribly sick with heartworms, skin problems, and they had both been bred so much that when they were spayed, their little uteruses were just mush. BUT these little girls were so brave and the wonderful people at Fuzzy Friends made them all better. It took them 4 months to get Mimi and Nikki healthy enough to be adopted and when they were ready, they contacted DFW Pug Rescue. The babies were found two separate homes, but I went to Waco on 01/08/05 to pick both up and transport Nikki to her new family and Mimi came to live with me. I fell in love with BOTH of them immediately and did not want to give Nikki up but I knew she had a new home waiting for her. But something in my heart told me to tell the other family that if anything didn't work out, to please contact me. Long story short, and 3 weeks later (with total support from both rescues), Nikki came to live with her sister, Mimi, her new brother, Pugsley, and her new mom on 01/29/05, so we are all back to together again to live happily every after. I am now an active volunteer for DFW Pug Rescue.

I was tagged by my very special puggy friend, Symber-Angel. Love you Symber!
Here are the rules: each player starts with 7 random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged need to post in their diaries "the rules" and their "7 Pawsome Facts."
Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don't forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and tell them to read your Diary, or send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been tagged!!
7 Pawsome Facts About Me:
1. I am a rescue from DFWPRC, as are Nikki, Emeril and LuLing.
2. I love to have my belly rubbed.
3. I love company - I am the first to jump up in your lap and give you kisses. It doesn't matter if we've met before.
4. I hate having my paws touched.
5. I sometimes do a girlie Elvis impression when my top lip gets caught behind one of my bottom fangs.
6. I am the alpha - hear me roar!
7. I like to chase and bite frogs and eat june bugs.
7 Pals I've tagged
1. Gidget - One of my first and best friends here.
2. Winston - 'Cause he's such a looker! Wink-wink!
3. Hoku - One of the cutest and kindest friends I have here.
4. Kingstars Louie - One of my favorite boys.
5. Winnifred Wiggle Pants - Such a girlie girl like me.
6. Paris Hilton, Princess Pug - Another princess like me.
7. Lena - A very precious girl.

Yea!!! Oh my gosh!!! What a rough couple of days. I ended up getting pancreantitus from eating so much of Nikki's prescription food Wednesday night. I think Nikki ate more than I did but luckily she did not have any serious complications.
I had to spend the night at the animal hospital and have an IV, pain relievers and antibiotics. They did blood work and I have to go back next Saturday for a re-check of my blood, just to make sure things are back to normal. I am on antibiotics for two weeks and special food for a while too. Nikki is also going to eat the special food with me to give her system a rest too. The food is very low fat and bland which will help our bodies clear out all the super-extra fat we took in the other night. The fat actually stays in our blood so it will take a while for that to get out of our systems.
After Mommie picked me up from the hospital, she took me to Petsmart and got us a new food container (that hopefully we will not be able to get into) and also some special treats (for later once our tummies are better) and two new toys. One is a replacement froggie because we loved our froggie so much and it is looking rough these days. The other one is the cutest, funniest little hula-girl monkey. She has on a bikini top, hula skirt and pig-tails. It's so funny we just couldn't resist it!
Anyway, I'm so happy to be home and feeling better. We are trying to rest and cuddle as much as possible this weekend.
Thank you to everyone who sent their extra-special puggy get-well wishes to me. They helped so much!

Our mom just got back from a week's vacation in Florida. We missed her SO much (but she says she missed us even more). But we were so lucky because two of her closest friends came to house and pug-sit for us so we did not have to be boarded. We got to stay home and play and be loved every day while we waited for mom to come home. We are SO special!! And so are our friends for loving and caring for us so much. Our mom was so happy to see us and we danced and squirmed, spun in circles and squeeled with delight when we first saw her. We've also been laying all over her and staying close to her since she's been home...pretty much like we always do :)
