 Quick Bio:
Likes: Snuggling, lying in the sunshine, treats, car rides, and belly rubs.

Pet-Peeves: The door bell, strangers, baths, nail trims, getting teeth brushed. Not being able to take walks and jump up on the couch and bed like I used to.

Favorite Toy: My teddy bear and my little blue squeeky.

Favorite Food: I LOVE fruit, Jello and popcicles. YUM!!

Favorite Walk: In the park behind my house.

Best Tricks: Does "sit" count? 'Cause I can sit pretty good...well, as long as you have a treat for me.

Arrival Story: Mom's side of the story: Way back in 1991, it was decided that my sweet Bubba-dog needed a playmate and I thought a pug would be the perfect choice. I thought I wanted a girl, but this little baby boy was the last one left and he stole my heart and wouldn't let go. He was registered as "Little Lord Pugsley."

Bio: I am the world's best cuddler. I also hold the record for shedding. If I had to guess, I would say that I probably get a new fur coat every day. How lucky am I??? I know, I know...not everyone has that luxury but that is what makes me SO SOFT.
Pugsley developed severe arthritis in his spine and hips in his later years and it really took it's toll on his precious little body. He was so brave and loved so hard with every ounce of his being. I was blessed to be owned and loved by him for 13 1/2 years - Sep 16, 1991- Jun 17, 2005.

My Sweet Pugsley,
It was one month ago today that you left me to go to the Bridge and my heart is still so sad. But something happened today that I feel is a special tribute to you. A little boy pug (we're calling him Trooper) was at a local animal shelter and in desperate need of medical treatment. They had him marked as "not adoptable" because he needed so much care. He looked like he had been on the street or severely neglected for a very long time. All he needed was help and he wasn't going to get it, so they were going to send him to the Bridge today (before his time). Well, a very special girl named Gretchen happened upon that little pug and took it upon herself to make sure that didn't happen. She had to put up a real fight because there were all kinds of rules and red tape but she somehow managed to get that little guy out and call the Pug Rescue. So I picked him up today and transported him 1/2 way to Dallas so that he can get the love and care he so desperately needs and deserves. So my little Pugsley, on this 1 month anniversary, I want you to know that another pug got a 2nd chance today. He was my 3rd rescue in this month that we have been apart. Each one is in your honor.
Love always,
your mom

It has been a week now since I got my new little sister, Mimi. Things have gone pretty well, I think. Except I think she may be under the impression that she is top pug around here. She's a bit sassy that way, but that's ok. She's a little feisty (still quite a youngster compared to me) but I love her. I missed having a playmate this last year (I miss Bubba), so it is nice having her to play and snuggle with whenever I want. And my mom is making sure that I get just as much love as before, which is a LOT!
