We enjoyed our daughters pup Lula (see "My Family" below) so much we decided a Boston would be good fit for us as well. While we were in Alabama visiting family, I called a small hobby breeder in that area & inquired about her litter of pups. The next day we visited the pups and picked this little guy out.

On The Lam!

Yesterday I had quite an adventure. I had been by myself for a few hours because all my people had place to be. When mom got home, I stirred up a little trouble chewing up one of the rugs in the living room. Well, while she was busy locking me out of the living room, I slipped into the garage! Just then, dad came home. I wasn't sure what to do... the truck was coming in and mom was chasing me...I started to run then mom screamed!!!! I was so scared I bolted out of the garage and ran as fast as my little legs could carry me! I went up the middle of the road and cut thorough a neighbors yard and before I knew it, I didn't have any idea where I was. Good thing my mom was not too far behind me. Dad picked us up in the truck and we all made it home safe. What a scary adventure!

Settling In

I have been in my new home for a month now and it feels like home. I have settled into a routine inclulding my daily periods of terrorizing my family. I love to nip at bodies... my favorite parts are feet and hands. For some reason, my people don't like that so much. I have plenty of toys to chew but nothing tastes as good as people.
I have to go outside in the cold a couple times a day and it has been freezing. I am a smart dog and have found that if I cuddle up on the heat register I thaw right out!
My people have stairs in the house but I have learned to climb them so they can't hide from me. Trouble is...I can't get back down! Oh well, I'm learning by leaps and bounds!

Week 1

This has been a busy week for me. I traveled from Alabama to Indiana. I met my family. I met my new vet. I am getting pretty used to my new digs. I don't like "outside"...its cold in Indiana :( but my mom made me a nice sweater and I guess I'll adapt. I still don't have a name. I need a name that says something about me...not a generic dog name. I'm pretty spunky and I live up to the reputation of the Boston Terror (er terrior), but I am a baby and I like to be held ( a lot). Then of course there are my fabulous markings to consider. Currently the top names under consideration are Rebel, Bandit, Spike, and Comet. Regardless of what my family decides on, I am a great dog!
