I've been volunteering and fostering with rescues since I was about 11 years old. My cousin had been volunteering with me at a Corona based rescue for over a year (also where she got her Amer. Pit/ Bull Terrier X.) We were asked to go out to a house and 'evaluate' two pit bulls who had been left behind when their owners moved. She was the female. They had originally bought the dogs to breed them, but apparently didn't care enough about them to take them when they moved. She came to me as a foster, and after some issues with the rescue (trying to take her) were worked out she became an addition to our ever-growing family.

Hi,
My breed and others are in danger! Many people are misinformed and prejudice against use. They are trying to enact Breed Specific Legislation in various US states and around the globe! This isn't just aimed towards pit bulls either; Italy has listed over 90 dogs as 'dangerous'! Please take a look at this site, do a google search on BSL even. HELP prevent the success of these bogus laws.
