Hi Folks,

Today has been a very eventful day. I was being dog-sat by my sister, and niece, and we went for an afternoon walkie. We were 3/4 of the way through the walk when we reached a swollen river, I being the curious dog I am went down to investigate the bank. I was truffle hunting when I saw a big tree stump, I jumped expecting to land on it. It came as a great shock to everyone, and within seconds I was 10 feet down the river. Luckily I was on my extendable lead (I cant be trusted off the lead because of rabbit holes), so my sister started pulling me in. I don’t like swimming so was trying not to but all of a sudden I was sinking. My niece shouted swim Ed swim, so that's what I did. While I was swimming my tail was sticking straight out of the water wagging, to help propel me along. I managed to reach the bank, and went investigating to see why I fell, but the I was pulled back up, and we set back up on our walk. When we got back I had a bath and was dried off, and I was told, 'what a big brave boy I was', and got given TWO biscuits. That is all from the adventures of Ed for today.

Got to Go,
