A day in the life of Milo

I am still around

It has been 2 yrs since my last entry? Time flies!
I am doing just fine, we moved into the country 2 years ago and I am loving the country dog life. I am nearly 5 years old now and still fit as a fiddle. I did have an accident a year and a half ago that took my left eye but I was able to retain it though I lost sight in it. It has not hindered me one bit and you wouldn't even know I had a problem. I spend my days napping in Mama's bed or at her feet in my doggy bed while she plays on the computer. I love to play outside and chase the squirrels, we have a 2 acre yard that is fenced in and all mine!! I don't miss the city life and all that noise, yep, I am a country dog after all!

These days I have Sookie to make sure my ears stay clean and sometimes, when they aren't looking, I sneak her food. Mama gets very upset about that, something about my kidneys et al. But I don't care, it tastes very good!!!!

I love it when my boy comes to see me. He is nearly 4 now and my very best friend!

Well she's here

I think I like my new sister. I have had it as the lone dog for over 2 years so I really don't know quite what to think.
Don't tell the Mama or Pops but I think she is kinda cute, and she smells good too.
Let's just hope she doesn't get too comfortable in the Mama's bed, I have my limits you know.

She has to be fair and update mine!
I had a very nice Christmas. I got 2 bags of my very favorite treats, some greenies too! I got new tennis balls made just for little guys like me! They are safari patterened, RAWR!!
Mom and Dad took off for awhile tonight and when they came back I smelled something VERY suspect on their clothes. The jig is up I know they have been spending time with the NEW DOG.
At least I have a month or so to keep my status. WIsh me luck!
