Spin (in a circle, then on her back, she does it all!), Speak, Sit Pretty, Dances, Sneezes on command, she Sings too!

Arrival Story:
Checkers was the pup of a friend's dachshund. When the friend got divorced from her husband, he kept the mother, she kept the spare and offered us Checkers.

Bio:
Is an old lady, so all she likes to do is sleep most of the time, preferably on the couch, under a blanket, next to your hip. Goes to work with me, barks at the customers until they pet her. Likes the mailman, he brings treats. Waits till after you meet someone at the door to start barking. Acts guilty even if she's not. Knows what the cage is and what it's for, will go into it even if she's not the bad one. Hates water (ie baths) but will jump in the lake to wrestle a fish. Licks, everyone, all the time if you let her. Gives kisses. Thinks she's queen of the castle, it's all about her! Will bark only if Latte gets her worked up. Will defend you if she thinks Latte is playing to rough. Will also defend you from Rami if you make him meow at you. Washes herself like a cat. Will find snakes if you tell her too, and beat them up when she does. Hunts out the small rodent cages at the pet store and stares at them (she knows what they are and she knows what she would do to them!) Has a pretty singing voice. Chases you around the house telling you to sit down so she can snuggle up to you. Prefers her rawhides/cow hooves pre-chewed by another dog, then comes and steals them. Doesn't want to share her bowl with Latte but feels it's completely fine to help herself to Latte's bowl. Loves to lay in the sun in summer and in front of a heater in winter. Let's Elgin wash her. The bone shaped charm on her collar, says DIVA, cause it's true.
