Arrival Story:
I was at the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter and after taking four different dogs out to the play area to interact with them, began to get discouraged. I decided to take Corona outside, even though at 50 lbs he was a little smaller than what I was initially looking for. From the start, he was next to me, asking for hugs and loves. He jumped up a few times, but was very gentle, balancing himself on his hind legs before placing his paws gently on my arm. We ran around the enclosure a bit, I did a little temperment testing to see how he would react to me handling him, and he ate up the attention. When I knelt down next to him, he put his paws on my shoulders and I picked him up... he sat, content, in my arms, smiling at the world. I knew immediately he was the doggy for me.
