Beauty's new home.

Beauty loves her new home and family. Her brother Charlie is her best friend too. They go walking every day with their parents and have so much fun looking for little critters tii chase. They spend the days on the patio and on the couch. Beauty even goes up and down the stairs now. They love her very much. It is a very happy ending or rather beginning for Beauty. She has just the home she deserves.

Beauty has a family.

I went to Petsnmart with mom yesterday. I got treats and saw lots of dogs and people and little kids too. I like it there. Everyone stops to look at me. Mom says it's cause I'm beautiful. I think it's cause they are curious about how I lost my leg. Wel it's fun anyway. Well the man who wanted me last wk came in and told mom they had a death in the family and had to go out of town for the week. They asked if Mom and dad can do my home visit Friday. I'm going with them and if mom says it's ok I will stay ther. That will be my new home. I am scared but excited too. I can't wait to meet my new brother. He's a Doxie mix like my friend Heidi. I like Heidi a lot. Well we will see how it goes Friday. I am getting adopted! Wow!

Yeah! Tomorrow is Sunday.

I get to go to Petsmart with Mom and Dad tomorrow. I get to meet lots of people and other dogs too. I get to smell new stuff and it's all fun. I might even get a furever home. Paws crossed!!

GUESS WHAT?

My foster mom said someone real nice wants to adopt me. I met the man and lady last Sunday at Petsmart for adoption day. They are REAL nice. They give really good ear rubs. I think mom is going to ask them a bunch of questions and dad is bringing the man an application to fill out. Mom said she has to go visit their home before I can move in. Geeee she sure is picky. I want to go now. I will be the only dog there. I'll get all the love and attention. hehehe That's gona be fun. I can hardly wait.

dad said my hair is growing back and it looks really pretty. He said I will be a true beauty when it comes back. Dad says I am just so special and he thinks I will have a good home soon. He thinks lots of nice people will want to adopt me. :-) Mom said she maned me Beauty cause I'm beautiful. Geeee with parents like them it's easy to feel pretty. They love me very much and I love them too. I'm very happy.

I'm doing good!

Mom says I have to go get my staples out on Thursday. She says I am getting well and she thinks I am going to be fine. I feel good. I can run better and walk better now. That old bum leg was hard to balance. I am much better off now.

My leg is gone!

I am feeling better. My foster parents came and picked me up at the hospital. I took a long nap and woke up without my bum leg and I have this cut on my belly too. My Nanna said I was spayed. She says I will never have puppies like I did once. She said there are just too many dogs who have to die every day because no human wants them. She said she does not want me to add to the over population of dogs. Nanna says I am one of the very lucky dogs who is saved. Because of my physical problems I am SO very lucky! I have a sponsor and a home to live in and be loved in until I get my furever home. God loves me. She said I am going to be OK and happy. My leg was such a problem for me, and it does feel better without it. I have to stay in my crate for a few days and then I can play with my friends. I get 2 medacines and Nanna is treating me with lots of love. Poppy holds me on his lap and we watch TV together. I like that. I have no problem eating or anything so I guess all my insides are OK. :-) I'm just going to take it easy like Nanna and the Vet say.

I went for a ride today

My Nanna took me in the car today. She let me ride with a seat belt on. I was very good. I sat in my seat and looked out the windows. We went to the doctor. She checked me out and told Nanna that I need to have surgery tomorrow morning. She said something is not right inside my tummy and so I will be spayed first. If it goes OK she said then they will remove mt bum leg. I have to stay in the hospital over night. Nanna doesn't like that but she has to do what the doctor says. I will be OK. I am a little scared but I really have gotten tired of this leg. It doesn't work at all so I will be better without it. Nanna and Mom talked on the phone and Mom says to give me a kiss for her. She says she will pay my bill and I will have anything I need. I am going to need time to hee=al and then I will be fine. I will got adopted and have a long happy life. So tomorrow if my spay goes OK the vet will remove my leg also. My Nanna will take care of me. I'll be fine.

I'm still sick.

I'm still coughing. I been takin my meds like a good girl. I don't complain at all. I still have the Kennel Cough though. I don't feel bad. I could run and play but I'm not allowed to right now. I like my food here. It's real yummy. I get lots of fresh water and my bed is soft and smells nice. Nanna washes it every other day. She likes stuff to smell good. She gives me a nice little treat every time I go outside and potty. Hey! I don't get that, but it's OK, I take the treat. hehehe She told Pappy that I get a treat cause I don't potty in my kennel. My oh my! Why would I do that? That's not nice. I am getting lots of rest and atention. I like belly rubs and Nanna gives me them often. Ummmmm Nice. I like it here.

December 8 2009

Today was like the other days here. I got good food and plenty of clean water to drink. Mom took me in and out all day so I could potty in the grass. She gave me a nice big bone to chew on too. It was good but she didn't let me keep it. She said she would not let me chew it when she thought it was not safe. I went out in the rain today. Mom didn't make me put my rain coat on today. She had an umbrella for us. I like umbrellas. I am going to the vet tomorrow. mom says we need to have me checked. OK
