Happy Roo Year!

Things got pretty busy for Momma and me during December. Santa brought me some great toys and one of those bones with Granola on them for Christmas. I love toys. Momma gave me an extra one on the 23rd of December because she remembered that it was the two year anniversary of my coming in and taking over the house. LOL She says it is one of the happiest days of her life.

Today was nice and warm here, so Momma and me met her friend and their Springer Spaniel for a walk along the water in Pacific Grove. We walked a long time and I was pretty tired when we got back home. I walked right over to my spot on the sofa and gave Momma the look that I was ready to get tucked into my pink blankie.

I have been such a good girl lately that I was allowed to have a little cheese on top of my kibble tonight. I also got a couple of extra doggie apple pie cookies. I like those.

We get to go back to work tomorrow. I have missed my friends at momma's work. I am hoping they let us run in the halls tomorrow. That is always so much fun.

A Rainy Day

I do not like rain at all. I love to play in the surf at the beach with the Labs. Rain is a different story though...

After Momma went to church and lunch, we got to snuggle on the sofa with the heater going. I put off going out into the rain. But then I remembered that rain makes mud. Fun! The no fun part is that Momma made me get into the bathtub twice to wash my feet and my beard.

All in all it has been cozy to nap on the sofa on my pink blankie with Momma. I also got some new "wholesome" treats this weekend. They have turkey and apple in them. When I get one, I like to toss it into the air and then I stalk it and jump on it. After I have tossed it around enough, then I have to sit down and eat it. It is delicious.

I also got to play with my ladybug today. It was a good day!

TGIF

I had to start my day today at the groomers. It is not fun for me, but I like my groomer. She is a nice lady and she gives me cookies. She has had schnauzers for 30 years and specializes in our different hairstyles. She says that she grooms each schnauzer the way that it is supposed to look. So she gives me more of a puppy cut. She kisses me whenever I come in and she always has lots of other schnauzers there, too. Some have really long beards and look like the ones on TV in the dog shows.

Today, I only had a bath, my nails done and a face trim because my eyebrows were getting kinda long. Momma said that I went in to get my bangs trimmed. Momma loves the groomer and sticks around talking when I am ready to GO!

I am so glad the weekend is here. Tomorrow I get to stay under the covers past 5:30 when we usually get up on the weekdays. I will cuddle up to Momma. I also get my one egg for the week on Saturdays. Momma says that we may go to the beach if it is not too cold. Whoohoo!
