The rabbit and the train.

When I was about five years old we were on our way to visit Grama and Grampa at their house. We got stopped by a train. I got up in to daddy's lap and was just sitting there. All of a sudden I saw a rabbit! I was out of daddy's lap and out the window before mommy and daddy knew what was happening. I took off like a bolt of lightning. I could hear them yelling at me to come back, but I just had to get that rabbit. It was dark and I totally disappeared from their sight. They were in a complete panic when out of the dark I appeared trotting back to the car. I had my tail tucked between my legs clear up to my chin. I knew I was in BIG trouble. They didn't yell too much.....they were just so glad I was okay. They were so scared I would get hit by the train I was running along side of. Needless to say, I never tried that stunt again.......but I still chased lots of rabbits.........and got in lots of trouble over it!!!
