When she was little: Jumping on Sheila's back like a flying Squirrel; today: playing in the front yard with Sheila and mom with the Volleyball; Agility; Play with the Tennisball, and going the beach in Santa Cruz!!

Watch Sheila practice in the Front Yard, being second, bully dogs, nail clipping, no-one throwing the ball for her

Favorite Toy:
Tennis Balls, definitely Tennis Balls, any queeky toy, especially the one Sheila has at the moment; anything out of plastic, empty milk jugs, nasty stuff from outside....

Favorite Food:
Definitely NOT kibble...:Freez-dried liver....chewing on a pig ear, Sheila's food, mommy's food, and dirty socks...

Favorite Walk:
Walk??? Jersey doesn't walk, she runs, and pulls. And she's fast. But if she has to, she enjoys a walk around the block because when we come back, we play with the balls.

Best Tricks:
Agility of course! She mastered the dog walk contact just recently but still needs to work on her weave poll entrance.

Arrival Story:
Sheila wanted a playmate and we were ready for a new puppy. We found Jersey at the Northern California Border Collie Rescue. Her mom, who was found as a pregrant stray is a Border Collie, but Jersey's dad is totally unknown. We still haven't figured out yet, what he could be :-) maybe a Lab or a Pitbull

Jersey is the most fearless tough little girl I have ever met! She has already mastered to jump on the bed (with a running start) and loves to restle with her 75 pound yellow lab cousin, Rocky. And she loooooves people! and certain other dogs, not everyone though.... And us.

I might not be as far along in my Agility carreer as sister Sheila, but I have accomplished quite a bit already (after only 3 USDAA trials):
Got my Starters Jumpers and my Starters Pairs title in USDAA and I'm not far away from my first title in CPE, the CL-1.

Mom finally figured out a way for me to get those darn Dogwalk contacts, but she still has to work hand on the weave polls entrace. But I'm a faster weaver than sister Sheila.

Other that that: they say that I am a very good dog nanny and that I take very good care of our foster puppies that join us once in a while. Considering, that I was an aggressive little bitch when I was 6 months old, I've come a looong way! I'm sure Agility helped and that we are having the foster dogs around as well.

Allright, gotta go play with the ball now.

Sheila told me that mommy told her that we are gonna get another foster dog on Sunday!! His name is Glynn and I heard that he is really cute. I'm sure I'm gonna like him. It's not a puppy this time; he's already 4 years old. I hope he'll play with me. Because Sheila hardly ever plays with me. She just hangs out on the couch waiting for mommy to come home. Boring! So boring that I had to chew up the water bowl this morning and mom had to clean up the wet mess on the floor when she came home for lunch. She hasn't told daddy yet.

I'm working on learning the weave polls, by the way. And I think I'm almost getting it. If there hadn't been that much rain in the past 2 months, we would have had more classes. But because of the rain, we've only had a couple of lessons each month and I think I'm getting way behind. Nevertheless, mom is thinking of taking me ot a fun match in May in Livermore. I'm gonna do great!! :-)

Whew....yesterday was a lot going on!

We went to an agility trial in Santa Rosa and I was allowed to come along, with Oscar, to watch Sheila run. And I wanted to run too!! But they wouldn't let me. Mom says that I will have to practice a few more months, and I might be ready for a fun match in late spring. I better start pacticing those weave polls....

But it was soon exciting. I had to stay in my crate for quite some time, but they let me out once in a while and I was playing with the ball in this huge muddy field with Sheila. And sometimes mom took me to the ring to watch all the other dogs and I got really excited. Mom says she would have to work with me a little more to become a little more calm when around a lot of people. But it was soo exciting!!!

Oscar came too. But that weenie was scared and didn't want to leave the crate. Mom and dad had to pull him out a couple of times. But when we were at the field, he was running with us and finally had some fun.

And he liked Frisco, mom's sister in law's dog!!! Man, I was jealous! I couldn't let him go near Oscar. Oscar is my buddy, just mine!! And then Frisco tried to hump me!! MOI!!! Naaaah,.... better don't do that to me. I had to snap at him and he ran away. But I guess mom didn't like that and she put me back in the crate in the car for the last 1/2 hour before we want back home. Fortunately, Sheila and Oscar waited also with me in the car, so I wasn't that alone.

Anyways, I better continue practising that agility thing so I can join sister Sheila pretty soon!!
