Rocky was a spur of the moment thing. One day we were talking about German Shepherds, and in the next day or so we had one.We got Rocky from a backyard breeder before we knew what one was. When we went to pick him out we were shocked that he was solid black. Neither DH nor I had ever seen a black shepherd. My DH bought him for me for Christmas in 2005. He is now our spoiled baby.
Rocky's dam was a black and tan saddle back and his sire was a solid black. His sire was supposed to be a show dog, but back then we didnt know anything about bloodlines, pedigrees or any other breeding information
