Arrival Story:
We were looking for a really good hiking dog. We thought about an English springer spaniel mixed with an Irish setter. We contacted a Springer spaniel rescue. We were expecting to be told that they only had small Brittany's and English springers... we were looking for a bigger dog over 50lbs. They contacted us within a couple of hrs and said what we expected; except they had one bigger dog; that someone thought was a Brittany mix; but the rescue thought he was just Munsterlander. They asked us if it was cool; showed us some pictures. We looked up the breed and studied it. We fostered him for a few days and just fell in love. We adopted him within 4 days of fostering him. He is a great hiking dog we found what we wanted...... We recommend others get a munsterlanders!!!!
