I can't even believe that it has been 3 months since Hamlet came into our lives. I look at pictures of him when he was 12 weeks old and I can't believe how much he has changed. He is starting his 2nd dog training class, the AkC good citizen puppy class. He is so smart, which can sometimes be a bad thing, always figuring out ways to get into trouble. Hamlet loves the snow, we just got a fresh few inches last night and first thing this morning he was running, jumping and digging his face into the snow. Him and the cat have a respect for one another and now just play fight, the cat will sometimes start the fights, I think she likes the attention. We had our first trip to the dog park this weekend. He does well with the small to medium dogs, but got quite frightened when two huskys wanted to play, he practically jumped into my arms. We are so happy to have him in our lives, he alway makes us smile after a long hard day.

Freezing weather makes the already difficult task of house training a puppy even harder. Even with the cold he is doing well, although he hates when the snow gets in his paws. It is so tireing always watching him, but when you see his cute little face and he gets so excited to see you it makes it all worth it.

Tuesday was Hammies 12 week birthday. He is doing better with accidents in the house due to the fact that we are following a timeline with potty brakes and feeding times. We are also having him spend more time in the crate. He doesn't love it, but as long as we are in the same room he is ok. Doing well with the "go potty" command. He goes every time. Still cautious of his sniffing inside. Had one accident yesterday and it was only 15 min after I had taken him out. Not expecting that at all. We have partitioned off the kitchen from the living room so that he stays in the same room as us. He does pretty well with that. So far so good, I know he won't be trained over night. Just enjoying see him grow up :)
