Arrival Story:
We had to put down our baby, Kaiser, on Thanksgiving Day 2008 and were quite heartbroken. Something was missing from our home and we figured we needed another doggie. We joined Tri State Weimeraner Rescue and they helped us find Kodi! He was at a shelter down in Gloucester County, NJ and we pretty much adopted him sight unseen on 1/8/2009. We knew he was great with kids since he had a 3-year old "brother" at his prior home and unfortunately his brother was allergic to him. He was super skinny when we got him (we don't think he liked being in the shelter) but we beefed him up pretty quickly. He's been a godsend! He's been great with our 3-kids and actually takes turns sleeping in their beds at night. He's a little neurotic still but he's gotten better since we first got him. He loves playing chase around the living room & kitchen and will double back to trick us out!
