But why not?October 26th 2012 10:01 am[ View A Comments (10) ] We were on our evening walk last evening and as we headed down the next street sidewalk there it was, right in the middle of the sidewalk, 10 feet ahead. Mum said you better move on squirrel or these guys will be after you, but it only twitched its tail. It was trying to get away but fur some reason it couldn’t. Hammy & I were pulling as hard as we could but Mum, she’s got a tight grip and some extra ballast to keep us on course. So we got rerouted across to the other side of the street. The neighbor came out and said “thanks for leaving it there, now I have to take care of it”. The squirrel was still alive and I don’t know what happened to him. I know what Hammy & I had in mind. Mum said no. But why not?
Well, toot! Here you coulda done the neighbor a favor and had a nice lil snack to boot. Maybe you'll get another chance next time. Boooooo...Momma says you can sick from eating squirrels, but she doesn't know what's good. Momma's are mean. My deepest sympathy to the squirrel and you and Hammy for not having some squirrel stew! I see a lot of squirrels around here, running regular ones, and some on the road, seemingly buffet style, but growlmy too doesn't even let me say hello or get near enough to sniff them... Condolences to that squirrel dudes furmily... Aww, dat are no fun. Killing squirrels is so much fun! Whut a spoilsport your Momma is... Duncan Dood! You are in the Diary Pick Loop-Dee-Loop! Congrats on another day! You are getting to be furmouse, Duncan! Congrats on being a DDP, tday! DDP CONGRATS!! Have a great day, and maybe today you might get a squirrel?? BOL! Thanks everybody fur the comments and I didn't even know we were in the loop! We've been busy getting ready fur company. Mum says it's somebody named Sandy and she is heading our way this afternoon. All I know is it's raining, cold and windy so that Sandy better hurry up or she'll get mighty wet. What? Oh, this is Sandy. Tell her to go away. Hammy & I don't want to see her. Thanks MJF fur the nice picture! Doesn't sound like Sandy is the kind of company you Want to stay around. Be safe! |
