Wonderful Snowy Day

Hi Furiends,

We had about 1-1/2 inches of snow overnight. It was just the right amount for my legs. I can easily get through it and it is fun to romp in. Mum & me took our very early morning walk and nobody else had been out yet. The snow was all smooth & perfect. I got to put the first paw prints in and make the first marks of the day. When Mum was clearing the walk and steps I ran around the yard checking for squirrels and kitties. Didn't find any. I was careful to not jump too much, I don't want a boo boo like Ernie.

That's a good boy Duncan! You'll be a great scottie boy like Ernie when you're big.

And the snow sounds like fun. We don't get any, but it has been rainy, windy and kind of cold. Mama was running around da house with a blankie over her...bol! she looked funny...

Star snow is what you get when the rain is really, really cold and instead of it making puddles it stays on top of the lawn. You can play in it and roll in it and then shake it all off. It is cold on your feet so you have to be careful but it is great fun. I like to run fast and slide on it. But I'm careful not to jump so I don't land funny on my paws and hurt my legs. It is also fun when it's been around a couple of days and gets a little hard. Then you can climb on it and mark it.

Ernie hate to be redunderant, but don't eats the yellow snow.

BOL!

Snow also makes it very easy to track the varminty critters like chippermonks and MOLES! They make tunnels you can see in the snows a mile away. Moles is easy to catch. Not that a keen vermin hunter like us Scotties needs an advantage or nuthin!

Happy Hunting & Snow times, Evfurrydoggie!
