Arrival Story: My oldest daughter joined the Navy and we took Charlie in. He's been with us a bit now and he's just a joy to be around!
Bio: When he was six months old, we were constantly getting calls that a white pit bull was out running around and Animal Control basically lived at our house. Charlie wasn't out it was another white pit down the street...once the call came in while I was out back with him. They wanted me to assure he was there...I asked if they wanted him to lick the phone or what.
About a month later, someone poisoned our poor boy with antifreeze. If you have every had this happen, you know how bad it is and if you have not, you don't ever want to.
Luckily, with the quick actions of both the Emergency Animal Hospital and Dr. Glenn Campbell of VCA Buckingham in Garland, Charlie is still with us to this day. And doing well!
