Arrival Story:
Zorra was the poster dog for her mom's litter, affectionately known as the "Peanut Pups" (the mom's name was Peanut) by the rescue organization we got her from in Burbank. We found her online on Pet-Finder, and knew we had to have one. The pups looked a lot like my partner's cousins dogs (half Chiuhaha and half Jack Russel Terrier) that we had grown to love and that our other dog (Amber) had grown up with. We went for an interview and brought Amber along. She loved all the puppies and her and Zorra got along instantly, playing tug-of-war over a stick. Zorra was also the first one to come up to me when the foster mom let them out of the carrying crate and she automatically wanted to jump on my lap, but her little legs only let her jump up and down in front of me-she couldn't quite make it and it was SOOO adorable. We knew we wanted her, but they had other interviews, so we went the next week biting our fingernails and were overjoyed when they said they thought we were the perfect fit. We got our house ready for them to bring her down (they had to do a house-check before we got her), even though we weren't planning on officially moving into the house for another week, but the new dog was priority, so we hussled. Zorra was a little nervous at first, but soon was at ease and was playing non-stop with Amber in no time flat!

Bio:
Zorra is a sweet little puppy and has the most heart-breaking little eyes. Just adorned with innocence, that is until you breath out. Then it's all over. See, Zorra LOVES to be blown on (most dogs supposedly hate it, but she thinks it's HYSTERICAL). When you blow on her little face, she gets really excited and starts licking you with the fastest tounge in the west. There's no stopping her now, except when you breathe in, then she pauses (sometimes mid-lick) until you start blowing out again. It's the funniest thing, really.

Mommas brought home this hyper, weird dog called Zoe. Her name is too much like mine, and that is really starting to get annoying. Like, Zoe got totally yelled at yesterday, and I thought I was getting yelled at. I got so freaked out that I almost peed inside, and boy do I get in trouble if I do that. Well, I guess it was good that I wasn't getting yelled at and that there is someone else to get in trouble, but STILL. Mommas say she is just visiting, but I hope it's not for too long. I guess she's ok, and she likes to play tug of war and that's fun, and she chases Amber with me. Hey, wait, why do I want her to leave again? She's FUN! Oh yeah, her name is like mine, that right. Well, I guess that's ok. As long as she stops peeing in the house. I had to learn to go outside, so she does to! No fair if the house gets to smell like her and she doesn't even live there! uh oh... all this talk about pee...

excuse me, I have to pee-pee.

The sun came out of hiding! Finally...

After weeks of rain and cold, where I was forced to lie on top of that metal holy thing on the ground that was blowing warm air on me, it's SUNNY!!! Yay! I get too cold when I can't see the sun *brrrr* and it makes me grumpy and bored. Well, poo on that (and NOT in a good way). I just hope Mr. Sunshine doesn't hide again for sooo long. Maybe if I'm a good puppy, he'll stay and let me play! Woof!
