my mom has officially lost it...

So.. today was black friday and I guess its supposed to be "the biggest shopping day of the year", so mom decided she was going to Petsmart to hit thier 50% off sale stuff and get me some new things.

She got me 2 really nice sweaters... boy colors...and then while dad was letting me watch the hampsters... it happened!! She stuck these goofy light up reindeer antlers on my head and jingle bells around my neck!! OMD!!!!!

Then, as if that wasnt bad enough.. she found me a pair of doggie jammies with snowmen all over them...Like how am I supposed to sleep in those? (sigh!)

Well... she told dad that I "HAD" to have them for when I go to get my picture taken with Santa....Who the heck is this Santa??? I hope he's not a vet!??

adventures of my day

woke up at 7am to a noise in the hall
"oof... whos out there?"
mom let me off the bed and I headed straight for the door
"Im ready to tear some legs off if necessary."
Just the teenage humans getting ready for school.
Went downstairs.
barked to go out.. got excited when mom got the leash
almost peed a little but managed to keep it in.
Outside to do my business in the grass.
Inside to and ready to go back to bed.
Slept on moms lap until 9am
decided I HAD to go for a walk "right now"
Barked my head off to get my way and out the door we went.
Pulled mom around the neighborhood and through the field.
Caught a scent of something good and used my nose to follow it.
Decided to JOG mom on the leash back to the house.
Back on moms lap for another nap
"ding Dong"
WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF... hey mom.."WOOF WOOF!!" Theres someone at the door.."WOOF!"

She brought her little dog, penny... must sniff her butt...ohhh she doesnt like that.. she growled at me! I better behave myself!

Im tired!! serious nap time now!

Oh, its the guy here to pick up the kids mom watches...

Scour the floor for any little bits of dinner that might have fallen
Out to go potty..its dark outside now.. must about be bed time!

Woohoo! I got to go to the pet store!

Today was pretty fun! I got to go for a ride in the car to the pet store. Mom took me to get a new collar and leash. She also found me a cute little yellow rain coat which I am really excited about. Its been raining alot here in Washington and I dont like to get wet when its cold!

I got to meet 3 other doxie friends while we were there. They were ALOT bigger than me, but they were all nice so it was fun! Mom also bought me some training treats and a new little tennis ball to play with.

I was kinda bored while she was shopping, so when she wasnt paying direct attention to me I barked my little fool head off to get her attention. She quickly figured out my shenanigans tho and decided she would ignore me and just let me bark. Hmpf...shes pretty smart! Im gonna have to find new ways to entertain myself when shes busy!!

The car ride was fun. I have a carseat that boosts me up so I can see out the window. Its pretty cool! I also feel very secure in there since I get strapped in for the ride.

We are home now, so Im gonna go curl up on the cat's blanket and take a nap.
