Arrival Story:
Casey came into our lives quite by surprise. One day while chatting with a friend I heard that Casey's former guardian was looking for a new home for Casey as he worked 6 out of 7 days a week and Casey was often left alone for many hours. The gentle guardian knew this was not the best environment for a dog that thrived on being with people, so he mentioned to my friend that he was thinking about finding a new home for him. My friend came and told me immediately. I dropped everything and ran to his place. I told him it would be an honor if I could be his Momma. And that's how Casey came into our lives.

Bio:
Casey was already named KJ when he arrived. I had a hard time wrapping my tongue around that, so we selected a name that had a hard "K" sound, but felt more like family. Casey joined our household of me, my honey and two loving family members, Sebastian, our golden and my beloved Gary, a 14 yr. red mini poodle. They all fit in well together. Gary took Casey under his wing and Casey brought out the puppy hidden in my old man. :) It wasn't long after Casey arrived that we lost both Sebastian and Gary on the same day. (That's a story for another time). Without Casey in our lives to help heal our broken hearts, I just don't know how we could have made it through. It's brought more into our lives than we could ever know. So tiny at 4 lbs, but with such an impact on our lives. We could not be more thankful to know him and to share this life with Casey.
