Our Baby

Two years old!

Well baby Judd is 2 now. He's as big as a house. We've been in our new home for about 5 months now and Judd has plenty of room to run and play. He just recently started exhibiting some territorial stuff again, but we are on it and are going to nip it in the bud, so to speak!
Its been great combining our family together now. Jim and I are really enjoying our new home and baby Judd is now with both of us full time.
Well, off to Carmel for the weekend. This will be the second time we're going to take the baby on a trip. We all need some R & R! Carmel is apparently so dog friendly we are taking him to dinner with us and he has his own menu! Amazing!

Approaching 2 years!

Hi all,
Well, it's been a while, hasn't it? A lot has happened and Judd is growing up. He is approaching his second birthday. He has calmed down a lot. We went through a phase of some territorial aggression but thanks to some advice from our walker, we tried a remote controlled spray collar and it has changed our lives. More humane than the shock collar, the spray collar helps curb negative behavior and has adjustments so now, we just have to press the beep button and the negative behavior stops.
We also moved to a new house which has also helped him out a lot. He was walking around my old apt complex like he owned the place!
We think of Simon often and miss him a lot but time heals all wounds and we are doing much better.
We hope to add another member to our family in the future and adopt a sister for Judd...in time.

Judd is turning one!

Hi friends,
Well, I've been with my dads now for almost a year. My, how I've grown! I came to them weighing 7 lbs. I"m now 28 lbs! I'm short but I'm solid! I'm going to be turning one on Aug 6. I hope they remember my birthday. I sure love them. Sometimes I see Daddy get sad as he looks at pictures of what he calls my "Uncle Simon", so I just lick his face and try to make him feel better.
I try real hard to be a good boy but somtimes I get irritated by big dumb dogs at the dogpark. Daddy has been meeting different strange people coming to house and meeting me. I think I"m going to be making new friends during the day soon. That's my guess.
Daddy and Papa have picked up on the fact that I'm smart. I can't fool them. Sometimes they speak in sentences to me. I pick up on certain words like "walk", "park", "pee pee" and many other words. I'm learning a lot!
Anyway, I hope they remember my birthday. I wonder what tasty presents I'll get?
