Arrival Story:
Angel is a rescue dog. She had been thrown out of a car on an interstate highway and left for dead. She had 7 pelvic fractures and a broken leg. The shelter was going to put her down but she was saved by a dachsy rescue person... that was in July of 2008. I saw her picture online and fell in love with her. I picked her up September of 2008 in Indiana. She had some issues of trust, especially around my cat and other dachsy, but with love and patience she is now a loving part of our family. She took the IDT test and is now a therapy dog. We go to nursing homes and a center for mentally and physically challenged young adults.

Bio:
When I first had Angel, I kiddingly called her Diabla (Devil) and told her she would be called Angel when she became on. Of course she has been an Angel for a long time now! How fortunate we are to have her.
