Arrival Story:
We wanted a companion for Dax as he is on his own for a large part of the day and the two cats aren't much fun to play with! We went through a different breeder up in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta for Della. Our breeder for Dax put us onto her and after meeting Dax's first mate, Roxy, we were suitably impressed with her physical attributes and teperament. In this case, we got the pick of the litter as we are planning on entering her in shows. She's a clever little girl too!

Bio:
Della has adjusted well into our family of myself, husband, two cats and her dad, Dax. She is more active than her dad too! We'll see how she matures in the future. She gets on well with everyone she meets. She has an affinity for cat food! We have to be quick on the draw when the cat food is on the ground and she's around! Anytime we're in the kitchen, that's where you'll find her too, waiting for something to drop on the floor or be given a small treat. She's very food driven.

We got Della with the intention of putting her in the show ring like her dad, Dax. She will be going into her first show this November. She has a lot of drive and spunk. We will try and get her to her championship, then perhaps breed her once or twice before spaying her. Then we will retire her from the ring and try for some sheep herding as she has a lot of drive.
