Arrival Story:
Jim and I were looking for another dog (this was before Sweeny) so we decided to look in our local human shelter. We started out by looking at the bigger dogs and decided we really didn't want any thing that big. Jim finally mentioned that he liked the dog on the bottom tier of cages. I looked and decided to take him for a walk. He was a well-mannered dog and I told my husband he was the one. He was an only dog to a family the worked and or was gone a lot so, it has taken awhile for him to join in the family. He still is a bit reserved but,he is coming around. He is very sweet to Sweeny and the only thing that my husband and I are having trouble getting use to is his growling when he is sleeping and we wake him up.
