Arrival Story:
A few years ago I visited a big city dog pound to look for a puppy. I ended up adopting the sickest and oldest dog there. Milton was in terrible condition and had a severe case a pneumonia. I think if I left him he would of died. After meeting him outside the kennel, I realized he was a sweet dog with an exceptional temperament. I adopted him and nursed him back to health. He was retrained and much healthier. Milton loves people. He loves to meet new dogs and people. He may of been a street dog or even somebodies loved pet. He has great social skills, probably because he lived in a big city with lots of people. I wonder what his life was like before he was picked up as a stray. He is an older dog and is experienced. His behavior does not indicate he was abused or hurt by people. His social skills are evidence that he has experienced a lot in his short life.
